Why donate

We now live longer than ever before. The scientific advances responsible in extending life expectancy have also contributed to increase the number of older people living with chronic or degenerative diseases. Given this unprecedented context in history and the complex care needed by this population, health professionals require new knowledge to deliver optimal care. Owing to its mission, the Chair focuses on an essential area of research to improve the care delivered to the vulnerable older population that deserves efficient care and enhancement of their quality of life.

The Chair is a philanthropic research chair, which means that it was created and is able to accomplish its mission thanks to donations.

The Chair needs your financial sponsorship in order to:

• Support research and knowledge transfer activities;
• Support the training of future generations through scholarship awards.

Make a donation online

To make an online donation, simply fill out the donation form of the Faculty of Nursing of the Université de Montréal.

To give to the Chair, please select the area to support Faculty of Nursing, then the fund Research Chair in Nursing Care for the Older People and their Families.
