Because we are all concerned

We all grow old. Aging is an inevitable fact of life. Thus, concern for the older members of our society arises as a social responsibility.

The mission of the Research Chair in Nursing Care for Older People and their Families is to contribute to the well-being of older people and their families and improve their quality of life.

The Chair’s mission is achieved through the three following objectives:

• Researching to develop scientific knowledge as a strong support for the practice of nursing care for older people and their family
• Contributing to the university-level training of the new generation in the field of nursing care for older people by providing a dynamic educational environment and offering scholarship programs.
• Fostering the transfer and integration of new knowledge in nursing practice through different strategies and clinical partnerships.
