Scientific Committee
Role
The scientific committee has the following responsibilities:
- Advise the Chairholder on any subject related to the Chair’s scientific program;
- Validate the relevance of the five-year research program developed by the Chairholder and to recommend its approval to the management committee;
- Develop the eligibility criteria, granting terms and conditions and assessment criteria for the scholarship and award competitions;
- Assess scholarship and award applications and select the recipients.
Composition
The committee is composed of the following people (in alphabetical order):
- Anne Bourbonnais, Chairholder of the Research Chair in Nursing Care for Older People and their Families, Committee Chair
- Stéphanie Daneau, Associate Professor, Faculty of Nursing of the Université de Montréal and Researcher and lab director, Research Centre of the Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal
- Adriana Lacerda, Associate Professor at the School of Speech Therapy and Audiology – Faculty of Medicine of the Université de Montréal and Researcher and lab director, Research Centre of the Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal
- Marie-Hélène Lavallée, Advanced Practice Clinician Nurse, Department of Nursing - Professional Practice Section, Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux du Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal
- Émilie Lefrançois, Coordinator of the Research Chair in Nursing Care for Older People and their Families, Committee Secretary
