Description

Better understanding for better actions

The purpose of research is to develop new knowledge that would enable a better understanding of the surrounding world that could lead to improvement. The Chair’s research projects seek to obtain a better understanding of older people living with Alzheimer or a related disease and of their families, in order to develop interventions that would help optimize their well-being and quality of life.

To this end, research projects use a pragmatic and participatory approach. A variety of research methods are used that specifically enable the active involvement of participants assuring results to be useful in clinical practice.
