Jacinthe Pepin, secretary and professor at the Faculty of Nursing of the Université de Montréal, and Anne Bourbonnais, chairholder, wrote the April 2025 editorial for S@voir inf-Formation infirmière.  This publication is addressed to the members of the Secrétariat internationale des infirmières et infirmiers de l'espace francophone (SIDIIEF), an international reference body for the Francophone nursing network.

In this editorial, the two professors discuss the impact that factors such as personal experience and nursing education can have on the choice of a nursing career with the older adults.
