International exchange with a professor of the Prince of Songkla University in Thailand
As part of her academic and research activities, Anne Bourbonnais, Chairholder of the Research Chair in Nursing Care for Older People and their Families, welcomed Dr. Praneed Songwathana, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Nursing of the Prince of Songkla University, Thailand.
As part of her academic and research activities, Anne Bourbonnais, Chairholder of the Research Chair in Nursing Care for Older People and their Families, welcomed Dr. Praneed Songwathana, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Nursing of the Prince of Songkla University, Thailand.
During her stay, Dr. Songwathana gave a conference at the Research Centre of the Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal (CRIUGM) in collaboration with the Faculty of Nursing of the Université de Montréal. Her conference was entitled Promoting health and integrated care system for older adults: Thai experiences.
Rich discussions were also held between her and the management team of the Faculty of Nursing, the management team and researchers of the CRIUGM as well as with the management of the Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal program to support the autonomy of older persons (SAPA).
