The Chair awards a postdoctoral fellowship
Following a competition held during the winter of 2019, the Research Chair in Nursing Care for Older People and their Families awarded a postdoctoral fellowship for a total of $40,000.
Following a competition held during the winter of 2019, the Research Chair in Nursing Care for Older People and their Families awarded a postdoctoral fellowship of $40,000, for a one year fellow at the Chair. This scholarship was made possible thanks to the generosity of donors who support the mission of the Chair.
The winner, Mr. Emmanuel Niyonsaba, is a PhD in sociology from l’Université Le Havre (Normandie, France). His fellowship will begin in fall 2019. It will focus on the perceptions of African family care partners and older people living in Montréal regarding cognitive impairment.
