In June 2020, a Royal Society of Canada task force released the report, “Restoring Trust: COVID-19 and The Future of Long-Term Care”. The report describes the COVID-19 crisis in Canadian nursing homes, the underlying causes that led to this situation and the principles that should guide future actions. The report concludes with a set of recommendations for better management of COVID-19 in long-term care.
